Although I don't like missing classtime with my students, getting out of the classroom is mentally health in order for teachers to recharge their science brain and pick up fresh ideas. Now my students nearly broke my heart yesterday but telling me "your class is the only reason I get up in the morning to come to school", I was able to hold back the tears and pack up to head off to the SC State annual science conference.
In addition to attending workshops, visiting vendors, and networking at the SC Science Conference 2016, I am also presenting two workshops. After 5 years working internationally in Educational Technology in Panama, I am excited to be back in the US classrooms and attending state level science conferences. Tomorrow's workshops are focused on Using 3D model makers from paper to engage learners and how to use technology to offer choice into your classroom. The hands-on workshop is full with 23 or 24 spaces reserved. I am curious to see how many seaLet's see how many come to the Tech Intergation workshop
