Guest Blogger Guidelines & Submission Info


What kind of content do you accept? 

Current Search Focus is for Tech in Education... tech projects, student centric tech activities, integrating technology into the classroom, APPs that work with existing curriculum, how tech is engaging students with learning.

General Guidelines


  • Your post must be original and must have never been published before on the internet.
  • Your post should be well written and grammatically correct in regular (non-slang or short hand) English. Please refrain from scholarly writing or overusing educational terminology. 
  • You agree to not publish the post anywhere else (ie: on your own blog or as a guest post on other blogs). But you are welcome and encouraged to post news of your guest blog with link to your guest blog on our own blog, Facebook page, Pinterest, and other social media avenues.
  • You can include one link in the byline, which will be displayed at the bottom of the post.
  • Post on average should be between 200 and 600 words. Longer posts maybe selected depending on content.
  • Post should be specific to ONE Project, ONE application or program, one method, or one device. We are not looking for general or board tech integration posts nor posts that discuss multiple programs and apps in one post. If you have more than one tech integration idea or project, we welcome multiple submissions.
  • Please include a 2 to 3 sentence bio about yourself and a link to your educational blog. 




Links and Images Guidelines

  • We strongly encourage the use of images and student sample work. However, please do not flood the post with too many images/pictures. Quality is our focus not quantity. 
  • For internet safety reasoning, photos with students' and teachers' faces will need to be blurred.
  • Any identifying marks (school or students names) will also need to be blurred for safety.
  • Proper citations and credits including live links to sources of images and pictures need to be included at the end of your submission and will be cited at the end of the post.
  • If images and / or artwork are of your own creation / photography, please include a statement to that effect at the end of your submission.
  • A maximum of 2 additional anchor text links to your own website within the body of the article be accepted.

The Fine Print Pointed Out:

  • Submissions must meet the Activities To Teach focus and intent to promoting positive educational resources and technology options.
  • Please refrain from submitting articles that are selling or promoting programs, APPs, and websites that have a cost associated with them.  Our site is not intended to be a commercial promotional blog but rather a resource for educators. Free APP and site submissions may be considered.
  • Activities to Teach reserves the right to reduced, edit, or adapt Guest blog submissions to connect to the Activities to Teach blog focus and content.
  • Guest blog submissions are property of Activities to Teach’s blog and may be shared on other social media outlets with proper acknowledgement of the original author credited.
  • Guest bloggers are encourages to promote news of their guest blogging with Activities to Teach including links to the blog post and reference to being a guest blogger with us, but are to refrain from republishing the guest blog to their own blog to limit duplicate posts upsetting Google and other search engines.


Submission Guidelines:

If your have a post that meets the guidelines above, you can send it to me in an email at science_geek73@hotmail.com. Please include the post in the body of the email itself or as an attachments (.doc file). Subject of email should be "Guest Blog Submission". 

In addition to managing Activities to Teach’s blog, social media sites, and Teachers Pay Teacher store, I work full time as a Technology Integration Coordinator at a large international school. While I check my email regularly, I tend to spend my Sunday reviewing guest post submissions weekly, so it might take me a week or two weeks to respond to your submission. I value everyone’s submission and time taken to submit, therefore I intend to respond to all guest blog submissions as to Activities To Teach acceptance or dismissal personally.
